R ichie Jarvis is an IT professional and amateur astronomer based near Brighton in the South of England. After several equipment false starts Richie turned his IT skills to astrophotography. Several of Richie's images have been displayed in UK Astronomical magazines, and he has written an article for Astronomy Now.

Richie also chairs the regular Under British Skies internet radio show on Astronomy.FM on the third Sunday of the month at 20:00 GMT.
